Friday, April 23rd, 2021 $3 per runner At Camp Omega, Waterville MN
2021 Updated Information:
Time to go for a run! We are pleased to announce Camp Omega will proceed with its annual fall Cross Country Race! Though, like many things this year, it will look a little different. There will be two scheduled races, one for the schools that can make it this fall on September 25. The second, schools that are postponing their season until spring are invited to participate in a race at Camp Omega on April 23, 2021.
In addition, all Department of Health recommendations for physical distancing and face coverings will be required when not being able to maintain six feet of physical distance from others. Anyone indoors must wear face-coverings at all times i.e. using the restrooms.
Race details have been decided and can be found in the document linked below. Factors that affected these changes include the number of registered runners, the new Department of Health guidelines, etc. While spectators are allowed, it is most helpful if teams would discourage spectators. Outdoor capacity in Minnesota is still limited to no more than 250. The more spectators in attendance, the fewer runners will be allowed to participate.
If you are interested in registering your team or have questions, please contact Camp Omega and ask for Noah.
Lutheran Schools in Minnesota South District are invited to attend Camp Omega’s 40th annual Cross-Country meet. Overlooking Horseshoe Lake, this course winds through Camp Omega, offering spectacular views of the beautiful fall colors. Family and friends are welcome to attend as spectators! Fun and effort are the emphases.
