Camp Omega Sunday

“We want to encourage all of the congregations in the Minnesota South District to recognize and
support their partnership with and the ministry of Camp Omega,” – Bob LaCroix, Executive
Director

The special Sunday recognition of Camp Omega will be held on June 8, 2025.

In 2002, the Minnesota South District Board of Directors designated the second Sunday of June as Camp Omega Day. The Minnesota South District of the LC-MS owns Camp Omega.

While congregations are not restricted to using this particular Sunday, it was chosen because it
marks the beginning of the summer camping season – the week during which the camp offers its
first summer camp programs. On Sunday youth will arrive to kick off the summer’s activities of
fellowship, Bible study, crafts and water sports!

Congregations are urged to put June 8th on their calendars, and make plans for their observation.

If you want more information, please contact Camp Omega’s Executive Director, Bob LaCroix.
